  • We came here on a Thursday for lunch. We arrived around 1pm and it was packed (notable since they close lunch at 2pm). We were able to get a table for 3. We were curious about being seated at a table for 6-8,but when you receive your entree “tray”/board of food you realize these booths require lots of table top space per person. We noticed the directions that we were required to order an entree per person and we chose from tofu soup (seafood/tofu), bi bim bap (cooked beef) and grill sections (spicy pork) of the menu. The banchan were all very generous and mostly delicious. I did like the mushroom and gobo root and quail eggs. I was surprised by the non-spiciness of the cabbage kimchi and liked the crunch of the watermelon radish kimchi. The vibe of the restaurant is lounge-y (whether it’s day outside or night) with the low lighting which maybe influences people to feel a bit more relaxed and sociable. Service could have been more patient/kind with new diners (asking questions about the menu, before moving personal property, or changing placement of flatware). It’s a pricey lunch but hey the upside is that I didn’t have to eat dinner.

  • Up scale Korean cuisine. We ordered the Sea bass Twigim very nice and also the Mushroom Twigim which was also great. The Wagyu galbi is delicious. So tender and seasoned perfectly. No to sweet or salty. Although the price is up there but you get what you pay for in this case. The meal also came with assorted banchan that you can get more upon request. We also ordered the grilled mackerel which was perfectly grilled. Not to salty. Service was excellent. They kept an eye on us and checked if we needed anything and refilled our water and tea without asking. The outdoor wait can be a while since it was a waiting list. It was heated and they provided coffee and hot chocolate. All in all a very nice Korean restaurant that has your familiar items but with a classy twist. A must try if you are into Korean cuisine.

  • Banger service, food, and vibes! I liked everything we ordered especially the fried crab appetizer, the japchae, and the sweet ribs. The black cod was good too. Intestine tofu soup was pretty standard so probably wouldn't order it here again. I was pleasantly surprised by the japchae, I feel like normally people don't really order it as a dish separately especially at this kind of restaurant but I just really like japchae LOL and the one here used wider noodles instead of round ones which I enjoyed. I also liked the added crunchy texture from the toppings. The galbi was pretty sweet but it paired well with the purple rice. I loved the sauces that came with the fried crab, and the wasabi that came with the black cod. All the banchan were really tasty too. Service was really nice and friendly too. Frequently asking if we needed refills of anything and gave good suggestions. Just be prepared to wait a bit for a seat since it's pretty popular. I'll definitely come back to try their yukhoe and some other dishes!

  • I always have great experience at Kunjip Tofu! The staff are always attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was bursting with authentic Korean flavors — from the sizzling tofu soups to the perfectly marinated BBQ, everything tasted fresh and homemade. You can really tell they put a lot of care into their ingredients and preparation. The vibe of the place is also worth mentioning. It’s cozy, lively, and has that authentic Korean restaurant feel that makes you want to come back again and again. If you're looking for delicious Korean food with great service and an inviting atmosphere, Kunjip Tofu is definitely worth checking out!

  • Excellent Korean food! I loved everything here, from the ambiance to the selection of curated dishes here. The ordering process was so simple and smooth, all of our food arrived in minutes of ordering but it was so fresh. The galbi, octopus bibimbap, and the seafood tofu soup were all so tremendous and was the perfect amount of food for two people. This review is simple because there’s not much to say - everything I ordered was delicious, prepared professionally and quickly, was clean and not oily, and very satisfying from start to end.

  • Food Quality: The food at Kunjip Tofu is simply perfect. Every dish we had was delicious and well-prepared, showcasing authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. It's an ideal spot for anyone craving excellent Korean food. Service & Staff: The service here is impeccable. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. Their efficiency and positive attitude contribute greatly to the overall fantastic experience. Be Prepared for a Wait: A testament to its popularity, this restaurant gets very crowded. My advice is to make a reservation or get on the waitlist quickly, especially during peak hours. Delivery Option: A great bonus is that they also offer delivery, which is a convenient way to enjoy their delicious food from the comfort of your home. Overall Impression: Kunjip Tofu is a five-star gem. With its perfect food, fantastic service, and the bonus of a delivery option, it's a must-visit. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

  • Basically the best Korean place around these parts. Expensive, sure, but you really can’t beat their authentic taste and service short of a Michelin star restaurant. There is usually a wait, but the tables move pretty fast despite the endless side dishes and comfortable environs. There’s even an instant coffee machine outside in the waiting area, true to their Korean cultural roots. The main dishes are fantastic, focused on the namesake Tofu and rounded out by a seasonal repertoire of side dishes. From the solidness of the bronzeware to their impeccable service (shoutout to Jessica this time!), highly recommended.
